Superb Stay Near the Station!
clean roomquiet atmospheretasty restaurant
I found the room very clean and the quiet atmosphere provided a bonus! The provided water kettle with coffee and tea proved essential for my city trip. Several tasty Sri Lankan restaurants are nearby. They are much cheaper than those in tourist areas!!!

The location was very convenient for accessing Gare du Nord and the Metro. Breakfast offered a good selection of items. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bright with many windows.
The family room we were assigned initially lacked privacy. The bathroom had no shower door, so water spread across the floor. The bathroom door was frosted glass, BUT silhouettes were visible with the light on.

the staff were helpful, i suppose. it's what you'd expect really.
The room was small, like trying to live in a shoebox. Moving around with luggage was a comical challenge. the lift situation was another joke, barely enough space for one person and a suitcase, so multiple trips were mandatory. it was almost funny, but mostly just annoying.

Underwhelming Stay, Issues with Room and Amenities

My stay had some disappointments. The window didn't close properly. It felt unsafe. the air conditioning didn't work well, so the room was too warm. The staff didn't seem to care much about these problems.

the hotel is near the main train stations and various restaurants. i found supermarkets nearby. the check-in process went smoothly, even though i arrived late at night.
breakfast was in another building, which required exiting the hotel. this was not ideal.

the reception staff was friendly and helpful . they were available 24 hours and assisted with any questions i had. i also found their advice regarding local transport options to be useful.
